Modeling of Cone Deposition Process for Field

چکیده
The Field emitter display (FED) is a very promising type of flat panel display. It possesses the potential to combine the performance of the Cathode Ray Tube with the compactness of the Liquid Crystal Display, while offering the additional advantage of low power consumption. The performance and reliability of the FED depend strongly upon the geometry of the deposited emitter cones. The formation of this cone is affected by the geometry of the trench into which it is deposited, as well as processing parameters such as temperature and the angular distributiuon of deposition flux. The affect of each of these parameters upon evolution of the emitter cones is investigated, in an effort to eliminate much of the guesswork currently used when desigining processes to produce FED's. This study concludes that the parting layer angle and flux distribution are the most important factors influencing the final shape of the emitter cones.

An Investigation of Asphaltene Deposition Mechanisms During Natural Depletion Process by a Two Phase Modeling Using Genetic Algorithm Technique
In this work, the natural depletion process in sandstone and carbonate cores was modeled to investigate the asphaltene deposition mechanisms. A new permeability reduction correlation was proposed based on the Minssieux model that considers a combination of surface deposition, pore throat plugging, and filtration cake mechanisms. The results showed that the filtration cake is a dominant asphalte...

This paper is concerned with asphaltene deposition in fluid flowing through pipelines. Brownian diffusion and drag, gravitational, thermophoresis, buoyancy, and shear removal are considered as possible mechanisms in the asphaltene deposition process. The thermo-physical properties of the fluid were obtained from Iranian oil fields. A model was used in the pipeline deposition modeling to predict...

Permeability reduction in oil reservoirs during primary oil recovery and using the enhanced oil recovery methods are complicated problem which most of the oil field in worlds has encountered. In this work, a modified model based on four phase black oil model (oil, water, gas, and asphaltene) was developed to account permeability reduction during CO2 flooding in cylindrical coordinates around a ...
